No Friends Press Release!

Here's a press release for the No Friends album that's dropping in July.
Keep an eye out for that shit!

NO FRIENDS (members of New Mexican Disaster Squad & Municipal Waste) record debut album for No Idea Records. Press Release 9/15/09.

Tony Foresta (singer of Municipal Waste) has joined on for vocal duties in a new hardcore super union featuring members of the now defunct New Mexican Disaster Squad. Calling themselves NO FRIENDS, they play 80's style hardcore in the vein of Dag Nasty, Descendents, and Gorilla Biscuits.

The band just wrapped up recording their self-titled album at Crescendo Sound Studios and is shooting for a July release date on No Idea Records.

Until then, you can hear the mastered versions of “Never Ending Fight,” “We’ve Got No Friends,” “Set in Your Ways,” and “Black Hearse” on their MySpace page.

Tony had this to say about the new project:
“No Friends just recently completed our first full length and I'm really pleased with how it came out. This band is something that I have wanted to be a part of for a while and I'm really stoked with how fun and fast things came together once we all agreed to do it. We are all on the same page as far as wanting to write interesting and creative fast music. I think we managed to create a pretty killer first release.”

Members:
Tony Foresta (Municipal Waste) - Vox
Alex Goldfarb (Gatorface/NMDS) - Bass, Vox
Richard Minino (Gatorface/None More Black/Horsebites Design/NMDS) - Drums
